About the Founder
Hi - I'm Atlanta.
I'm a mum, founder, advisor, and lifelong builder. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me outdoors with my little fournado and two very hyper cocker spaniels, chasing some combination of mountains, water, movement, or the next good idea. I care deeply about building things that work in real life, not just on paper, and as an entrepreneur myself, I understand the responsibility, risk, and decision-fatigue that come with building something of your own.
Professionally, I’m a legal, commercial, and strategic advisor with nearly 20 years’ experience supporting founders, businesses, creatives, and leadership teams. After training at Clayton Utz and holding senior in-house legal roles at Foxtel, Sky UK, and Acorn Media, I saw first-hand that traditional legal models often don’t fit how modern businesses operate. This led me to establish the consultancy Altra Media as a more flexible, commercially grounded alternative.
Alongside this work, and through years of conversations in my professional and personal life with friends and colleagues, I’ve seen how often women with ideas, businesses, or ambitions to build something of their own run into unnecessary hurdles. Some have strong ideas but no clear sense of how to begin or which first steps matter. Others lack the right support or structure as they try to turn those ideas into something real. And some are already running successful businesses but realise that the foundations or advice they’ve relied on no longer fit what they’re building. Across all of it, issues of cost, access, confidence, and complexity come up time and again.
My mission is to provide women with the right support at every stage of their journey — whether they’re shaping an idea, putting the right foundations in place, or navigating the realities of running and growing a business. Female Founders Office has been built for that: combining deep legal and commercial expertise with a more accessible, human way of working, and offering both proportionate early support and trusted strategic partnership as businesses evolve so that women can move forward with clarity, confidence, and on their own terms.
